Annual Summer Festival
Following its debut last year Horncastle Hockey Club will be holding their second annual Hockey festival. It is hoped that this festival, will build on the sucess of last year and continue to grow with the support of hockey clubs far and wide!
This year we will be hosting the festival in conjunction with Cancer Research UK, with a percentage of all entry fees being dontated to the charity along with other fundraising endeavours over the course of the weekend.
Again the festival will be held over the bank holiday weekend at the end of August, in conjunction with the annual beer festival hosted by the cricket club. The aim of the fesitval is to create an enjoyable hockey weekend for people of all ages.
It is our hope that the Festival will have a family friendly enviroment whilst maintaining the typical “tour” atmosphere we all know and love! This will be boosted by the fact that Horncastle also hosts an annual beer festival at the playing fields which takes place over the same bank holiday weekend!
There will be music, beer, changing facilities and camping all available on site.
The competition format will be to hold men’s, ladies and mixed tournaments alongside each other.
Entry will be £50 per team (maximum squad size of 10 for each team). However, those wishing to enter all competitions will benefit from a buy 2 get the 3rd free deal.
