As with most light-duty front, there are occasional problems with the "lesser" - rubber between the faceplate and a bathroom. But with proper maintenance, this problem can be overt. * UPDATE * There is a new product on the market called Affresh. Prevents odor-causing waste, it works much better than chlorine, and keeps your machine clean. See product and purchasing information here. Download Use and Care manual of your machine for instructions.

Hello George,

Just found the website.

Is it really 40 years ago the Club was formed?

I remember in those early days travelling down from Teeside to play. I seem to remember one of the last times I saw you was at my Wedding in Guisborough way back in1974.

My two elder sons (Mark and Paul) both played hockey with me at Winnington Park in Northwich, Chesire. Both are now married and have families of their own. Paul still plays for Thirsk 1st XI.

I will look out for your results and hope to pop in and see you when I am over in Lincolnshire.

Continue the great work you have done over the last 40 years.

Best wishes for a succesful Summer and more success in season 2011/12

Tom Doyle

Thanks to all who attended our 40th anniversary celebrations over the weekend. Special thanks to Blobby for sorting out the team, Martin for selling the raffle tickets, Dave Bell for collecting in all the match fees and every one that brought raffle prises. Thanks also to Mary for giving up her Sunday. £400 was raised which will go into the pitch fund.

Hi George,

Congratulations to the club on making it 40 years. The contribution to the Horncastle community over the years has been amazing. Long may it last.
In China as usual so can't make the reunion. Will be back home at Christmas and would like a run out if you are having a friendly !
Hope you have a great weekend. Don't allow Golly or Hartock score a goal if they play in the reunion game, as they may never get over it.

Be Good !

Paul.

Further to Cheryl's message the new mixed rule of only playing for one team is straight forward and is designed to give as many people as possiple a chance to play mixed hockey. the idea of the pool is that any players not attached to a team will be put on a list on this web site so that teams looking for extra players will know who to contact. I intend to talk to Ruth on wednesday about how many games you need to play before you are deemed to be a member of that team two maybe?? So that perhaps somebody in thepool might play four matches but for four different sides to help them out when they are short?? If anyone has any ideas please contact Ruth or myself or leave a message here. We wont to make the rules as fair as possible George 01507 524152

Does anybody know who was club member of the year and second team player of the year last season as we have still not retrieved these two trophys. If anybody knows where the trophys are that would be even better..

The festive season is upon us so merry Christmas and a drunken New Year to everyone in HHC!!

It has been a very sucessful start to the season for all teams lets keep it up in the new year and hopefully see 3 teams promoted by the end of the season! I'm only guessing but i think it will be the first time in the Clubs history that 3 teams have gained promotion (George i'm sure will confirm this either way) so lets all have a big effort to achieve it!

P.S Dave smells and so does Ready! :-(,)........... and Bell

Gazz always looks a bit special...i'll bring the camera along tomorrow so we can do photos for those people that aren't happy with theirs...Gazz can have one with is helmet on (it's thinning) and we'll do the same for the seconds and the ladies too. Will also try and get some action shots from the matches since we are all at home again!
