Leadenham Mixed 11 Tournament

Horncastle once again entered the mixed 11's tournament organised by Leadenham in an attempt to reclaim the trophy they lost to Louth in 2009. And reclaim it we did!

 

Following some tough matches against Newark and Lincoln, Horncastle were left with last years champions Louth in the final match of the day and needed at least a scoring draw to regain the title.

 

Fortunately, though the match was an end to end thriller Horncastle proved to be more clinical in front of goal and the game finished 4-2. Meaning Horncastle were once again crowned champions!

 

Thanks to Leadenham HC for organising the event and inviting us along again. We look forward to defending the title in next years tournament.
