MEETING MINUTES

 

01 November 2010

 

1. Present:Ruth Cullen, George Steadman, George Dann, Gemma Lewis, Dave Seymour, Jessie Emmerson, Jess Wilkinson, Paul Kisby, Chris Kime

  

2. Apologies for absence: There were none

  

3. Correspondance: Umpiring course on 5th Dec - Gemma Lewis, Jess Wilkinson and Jessie Emmerson to attend. Club will pay half the cost of the course.

 

 

Questionairre from ELDC - Re: Funding (Ruth Cullen to complete)

  

4. 40th Anniversary: Dinner dance on the Saturday has been cancelled due to lack of interest. Vets match Vs Alford on Sunday 14th, bar open at 12pm, match starting at 2pm followed by a buffet.

 

 

Gemma Lewis, Jessie Emmerson and Jess Wilkinson to ask local businesses for raffle prizes.

  

5. Fixture Card/Sponsors: All in hand and should be ready for 14th November.

  

6. Club First: Gemma Lewis to spend time working on this and contact Ben Stevens for any assistance.

  

7. End of Season Dinner Dance: Saturday 2nd April 2011, venue to be confirmed.

 

 

8. Any other business: Junior hockey - George Steadman took the team to U14 tournament and all had an enjoyable day, with some good potential players. Will also enter into U12 tournament. Thanks to those who help out at Junior training.

  

Dave Seymour to erect the Horncastle Hockey Club sign before 14th November.

  

New match and training balls given to captains.

  

More socks are needed to be ordered.

 

 

Chris Kime gave treasurers report.

  

Ladies to trial run training on half a pitch on a Monday night. Thursday night training to use just half a pitch, unless attendance is high and requires full pitch.
